Welcome to JetPalate ("Company", "we", "our", "us"). These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the JetPalate API platform, documentation portal, and related services (collectively, the "Service").

By accessing or using our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of these Terms, you may not access the Service.

2. Definitions

  • "API" means the JetPalate Application Programming Interface, including all endpoints, webhooks, and related services.
  • "API Key" means the unique authentication credential provided to you for accessing the API.

  • "Documentation" means the technical documentation, guides, and examples provided for the Service.
  • "Ordering Link" means a unique URL generated through the API for flight catering orders.
  • "Sandbox Environment" means the testing environment provided at sandbox.jetpalate.com.
  • "Production Environment" means the live production environment.

3. Account Registration and API Access

3.1 Account Creation

  • You must provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
  • You must be at least 18 years old or the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction
  • You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account

3.2 API Keys

  • API Keys are confidential and must not be shared or exposed publicly
  • You are responsible for all activities that occur under your API Key
  • We reserve the right to revoke or rotate API Keys at any time for security reasons
  • Lost or compromised API Keys should be reported immediately

3.3 Account Responsibilities

  • One person or entity may not maintain multiple accounts
  • You may not transfer your account to another party without our written consent
  • You must comply with all applicable laws and regulations when using the Service

4. Acceptable Use Policy

4.1 Permitted Use

You may use the Service to: - Integrate flight catering ordering capabilities into your applications - Access reference data (airports, aircraft types) - Create, retrieve, and update ordering links - Receive webhook notifications for order events - Test integrations in the Sandbox Environment

4.2 Prohibited Activities

You must not: - Use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose - Violate any laws in your jurisdiction (including but not limited to copyright laws) - Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its related systems - Transmit any malicious code, viruses, or harmful components - Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service - Scrape, crawl, or use automated tools to access the Service without permission - Overload or interfere with the proper functioning of the Service - Use the Service to compete with JetPalate or develop a competing service - Resell or sublicense access to the Service without written authorization - Remove, obscure, or alter any proprietary notices on the Service - Use the Service to send spam or unsolicited communications - Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation

4.3 Rate Limiting

  • API requests are subject to rate limits as specified in the Documentation
  • Current limits: 100 requests per minute, 1000 requests per hour per API Key
  • Exceeding rate limits may result in temporary suspension of access
  • Enterprise rate limits are available upon request

5. Service Availability and Support

5.1 Availability

  • We strive to provide 99% uptime for the Production Environment
  • Scheduled maintenance will be announced in advance when possible
  • The Sandbox Environment may have different availability guarantees
  • We are not liable for any downtime or service interruptions

5.2 Support

  • Technical support is available via email at [email protected]
  • Documentation is available at our documentation portal
  • Response times vary based on your service level agreement
  • Emergency support may be available for production issues

5.3 Service Modifications

  • We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service
  • We will provide reasonable notice for significant changes when possible
  • Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of those changes

6. Data and Privacy

6.1 Your Data

  • You retain all rights to the data you submit through the Service
  • You grant us a license to use your data solely to provide the Service
  • You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to submit any data
  • You must comply with all applicable data protection laws

8.1 API Guidelines

  • You must follow the API Documentation and best practices
  • You must handle errors gracefully and implement proper retry logic
  • You must respect HTTP status codes and error messages
  • You should cache reference data appropriately to minimize requests

8.2 Webhooks

  • Webhook endpoints must respond within 10 seconds
  • You must verify webhook signatures as documented
  • Failed webhook deliveries will be retried according to our retry policy
  • You are responsible for maintaining webhook endpoint availability

8.3 Testing

  • The Sandbox Environment should be used for testing and development
  • Sandbox data may be reset periodically without notice
  • Production credentials must not be used in the Sandbox Environment
  • Test data should not contain real personal or payment information

9. Warranties and Disclaimers

9.1 Service Warranty

WE PROVIDE THE SERVICE "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO: - Warranties of merchantability - Fitness for a particular purpose - Non-infringement - Uninterrupted or error-free operation - Accuracy or reliability of results

9.2 Third-Party Services

  • The Service may integrate with third-party services (restaurants, vendors)
  • We are not responsible for the availability or quality of third-party services
  • We do not warrant the accuracy of third-party data
  • Third-party services are subject to their own terms and conditions

9.3 Your Responsibilities

  • You are solely responsible for your use of the Service
  • You must test your integration thoroughly before production deployment
  • You are responsible for your application's compliance with applicable laws
  • We do not warrant that the Service meets your specific requirements

10. Limitation of Liability

10.1 Liability Cap

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF: - The amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or - $100 USD

10.2 Excluded Damages

WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY: - Indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages - Loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities - Cost of substitute services - Damages arising from your use or inability to use the Service - Damages resulting from unauthorized access to your data - Damages from errors, bugs, or service interruptions

10.3 Exceptions

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or limitation of liability. In such jurisdictions, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless JetPalate, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, agents, and licensors from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from: - Your use or misuse of the Service - Your violation of these Terms - Your violation of any rights of another party - Your violation of any applicable laws or regulations - Your applications or integrations - Content you submit through the Service - Claims by your end users

12. Term and Termination

12.1 Term

These Terms remain in effect while you use the Service or until terminated by either party.

12.2 Termination by You

  • You may terminate your account at any time by contacting support
  • You remain responsible for any charges incurred before termination
  • Termination does not entitle you to any refunds

12.3 Termination by Us

We may suspend or terminate your access immediately if: - You breach these Terms - You engage in prohibited activities - Your account is inactive for an extended period - Required by law or legal process - You fail to pay fees when due

13. API-Specific Terms

13.1 Endpoints

  • All endpoints are documented in our API Documentation
  • Endpoints may be added, modified, or deprecated with reasonable notice
  • We maintain backward compatibility when possible
  • Deprecated endpoints will be supported for at least 6 months after deprecation notice

13.2 Data Validation

  • All requests must comply with the documented schema and validation rules
  • Invalid requests will return appropriate HTTP error codes
  • Error messages are provided for debugging purposes only
  • You must not rely on specific error message formats

13.3 Ordering Links

  • Ordering links are valid for the specified departure date and time
  • Links may expire or become inactive after the flight departure
  • You are responsible for sharing links only with authorized passengers
  • We are not responsible for orders placed through shared links

13.4 Metadata

  • The metadata field accepts arbitrary JSON objects for your integration needs
  • Metadata has a maximum size limit of 10KB
  • We do not process or validate metadata content
  • Metadata is stored and returned as provided
